James Murchison

James is the Managing Director of Murchisons, a Sydney based Chartered Accountancy and business advisory firm. He has over 27 years of professional experience including advising the Boards and Senior Management of leading Architectural, Engineering and Conservation consulting firms. Prior to establishing Murchisons, James held a management position with KPMG (formerly Peat Marwick) having operated in the areas of audit, business services and insolvency. His wide ranging experience includes establishing sustainable corporate governance frameworks, including risk assessment and management processes for businesses, particularly during the start-up phase.
James has a Bachelor Commerce from the University of New South Wales, is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia and a member of Australian Institute of Company Directors.
